The KSB KWP series is a robust, non-clogging centrifugal pump designed for demanding industrial applications. Engineered with a horizontal, radially split volute casing and back pull-out design, this single-stage, single-entry pump ensures easy maintenance and high reliability. It features multiple impeller configurations to handle diverse fluid types, including viscous, abrasive, and solid-laden media.

  • Versatile Impeller Options:

       ◦ K-Type: Closed multi-channel impeller for high efficiency in clean or mildly abrasive fluids.

       ◦ O-Type: Open multi-vane impeller for handling fibrous or stringy media.

       ◦ F-Type: Vortex (free-flow) impeller for solids-laden or gas-entrained fluids.


  • ATEX-Compliant Versions: Suitable for explosive atmospheres (Directive 2014/34/EU).

  • Back Pull-Out Design: Enables servicing without disconnecting pipelines.

  • Reinforced Construction: Extra corrosion/wear allowance on pressure-retaining components.

  • Advanced Shaft Sealing: Mechanical seal integrated into a conical chamber for optimal cooling, venting, and drainage.

Materials & Construction

  • Casing: EN-GJL-250 cast iron (standard), with options for  corrosion-resistant alloys (e.g., G-X250CrMo15-3, GX3CrNiMoCuN24-6-2-3).

  • Internals:

       ◦Impeller/Wear Plates: ERM (nickel cast iron) or Norihard® for abrasion resistance.

       Shaft: C45+N steel (standard) or Noridur® 1.4593 stainless steel.

  • Seals: Dual options—mechanical seals (1.4122/1.4539 stainless) or gland packing.

  • Bearing Assembly: Reinforced, adjustable design for extended service life.
