DT FGD Desulphurization Slurry Pump

DT desulfurization pumps are typically used as FGD Limestone Slurry Pumps, Absorber Recirculation Pumps, Gypsum Bleed Pumps, Filtrate Pumps to transport desulfurization agents (such as limestone slurry), and react with SO2 in the flue gas to form calcium sulfate (gypsum) to achieve the purpose of desulfurization.

DT desulfurization pump is an important equipment used in desulfurization systems, mainly used for flue gas desulfurization operations in industrial fields such as thermal power plants, steel plants, chemical plants, etc. Desulfurization refers to the treatment of flue gas containing sulfur dioxide (SO2) generated during the combustion process to reduce atmospheric pollutant emissions. DT desulfurization pumps are typically used as FGD Limestone Slurry Pumps, Absorber Recirculation Pumps, Gypsum Bleed Pumps, Filtrate Pumps to transport desulfurization agents (such as limestone slurry), and react with SO2 in the flue gas to form calcium sulfate (gypsum) to achieve the purpose of desulfurization. This type of pump needs to have wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant characteristics to adapt to harsh working conditions in desulfurization systems.

The pump operates by circulating a scrubbing liquid, typically a calcium-based slurry, through a spray tower or scrubber where it comes into contact with the flue gases. This chemical reaction between the scrubbing liquid and the SO2 results in the formation of calcium sulfate or gypsum, which can be safely disposed of.

 

One of the key features of the DT desulfurization pump is its corrosion resistance. The pump is constructed with materials that are resistant to the highly corrosive nature of sulfur dioxide and other chemicals present in the flue gas. This ensures the longevity and reliability of the pump even under severe operating conditions.The maximum chloride ion content in the slurry can reach 60000 ppm, and the pH value of the slurry is allowed to be between 2.5-13. The slurry temperature is ≤ 65 ° C, and the maximum weight concentration Cw of the slurry can reach 60%.

 

The pump is also designed for efficient and reliable operation. It has a high flow rate and a low power consumption, resulting in lower energy costs for the user. Additionally, the pump is equipped with special impellers and casings that are designed to handle the high solid content present in the flue gas. This prevents clogging and ensures smooth operation.
